The last Dark Phoenix trailer left us with a lot of questions. This one is better? Mainly because it doesn’t seem to be another long-winded quarrel between Professor X and Magneto.
Prepare to see Dark Phoenix in all her glory:
This trailer centers more on its titular character instead of everyone else’s reactions to her, which is a welcome relief. We’re holding our breath to see what happens in this film, but that doesn’t make it any less moving to see Mystique come to Jean’s aid and tell her that she’ll never give up on her. More of this, please.
Dark Phoenix will hit theaters on June 7th.
